Halal steakhouse Meet Bros to open second London location in Shoreditch this November

Asian-fusion steakhouse Meet Bros has announced the opening of its second London location in Shoreditch this November. The new site follows the brand’s initial launch in Paddington in 2022 and is part of a broader expansion strategy aimed at meeting growing demand for high-quality halal dining options in the capital. The Shoreditch branch, located on King John Court, will accommodate up to 150 diners and feature both indoor and outdoor seating. The venue is expected to retain the brand’s hallmark menu of Asian-inspired flavours and premium cuts of meat, while introducing new dishes exclusive to the East London location.
Since its debut, Meet Bros has gained a following for its alcohol-free, halal-certified menu, combining Eastern and Western culinary influences. Commenting on the expansion, Syed Ashraf Syed Ali, CEO of Palace Butcher Resources, said: “The past few years have shown us just how much appetite there is for elevated halal dining done differently. Shoreditch felt like the natural choice for our next chapter. It’s a cultural and culinary hub that shares our energy, creativity and ambition. This new site is a statement of our growth and a sign of what’s still to come for Meet Bros.”
The new location will feature a redesigned interior, incorporating natural wood finishes, greenery and warm lighting. According to the company, the aesthetic is intended to reflect the creative atmosphere of Shoreditch while maintaining a relaxed yet refined dining environment.
Najib Hamid, managing director of Serai Group, highlighted the culinary direction of the new branch: “With Shoreditch, we’ve designed a menu that keeps our classics but offers guests new options – whether that’s the richness of a Wagyu Ribeye with our house spice rub, or a fresh seasonal small plate inspired by Southeast Asian street food. It’s about keeping the dining experience exciting and memorable, every time.”
