China Tang launches Art Deco-inspired cocktail flight across London, Hong Kong and Dubai

The international Cantonese restaurant group China Tang has launched a new Art Deco Cocktail Flight in celebration of the centenary of the Art Deco movement. The offering has just vecome available across its three flagship locations: China Tang at The Dorchester in London, China Tang Hong Kong at The Landmark, and China Tang Dubai at The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection.
The cocktail flight features three miniature drinks, each designed to reflect the cultural and aesthetic character of their respective cities. The launch pays tribute to the Art Deco style, a design movement that has influenced China Tang’s interiors and brand identity since its founding.
Each of the three cocktails was created by the bar teams at the respective locations. The London-based China Tang Martinez is a reinterpretation of the classic Martinez, combining Bombay Sapphire, Fen Chew Baijiu, vermouth rosso and maraschino liqueur, with the addition of ginseng tincture and an orange coin. It is filtered through coffee beans to enhance its depth.
From Hong Kong, the Tang 12 offers a lighter profile, blending gin, vermouth bianco, lemon, honey and a dash of absinthe. It is shaken to achieve a smooth texture and garnished with lemon peel. The Dubai contribution, Chishui Flow, mixes Moutai Baijiu with banana cordial, lychee and lemon juice, rounded off with vanilla syrup and a touch of saline. It is served in a martini glass and garnished with a cornflower.
Nathalie Ford, Vice President Europe & Middle East for China Tang, said: “Art Deco has always been at the heart of China Tang’s identity, from the interiors that evoke 1930s Shanghai to the sense of occasion our guests feel as soon as they arrive. Our new Art Deco Cocktail Flight celebrates those qualities, while uniting London, Hong Kong and Dubai in one experience.”
The cocktail flight is priced at £30 in London, HK$300 in Hong Kong and AED120 in Dubai. Each cocktail is also available individually in full-size servings, priced at £24, HK$160 and AED40 respectively.
Founded in 2005 by the late Sir David Tang, China Tang blends traditional Cantonese cuisine and Art Deco-inspired design. The restaurant group is currently operated by Lai Sun Dining.
