Crudo brings bottomless tacos and Latin flair to London for Day of the Dead celebration

Latin American restaurant group Crudo will mark the Day of the Dead with a special dining event on Sunday, 2nd November. The celebration, taking place at Crudo’s Seven Dials location in the West End, will offer guests 90 minutes of unlimited tacos for £35, accompanied by £7 margaritas and Latin music. The event honours Día de los Muertos, a traditional Mexican holiday that celebrates the lives of deceased loved ones.

Founded in 2019 by Venezuelan-born Maria Yanez and Carlos Socorro, Crudo Cocina Latina was established to bring contemporary Latin American cuisine to London. The couple, who met in Miami, launched the brand after noticing a lack of casual Latin dining options in the capital. Crudo now operates three sites across London, with an evolving menu of shareable dishes and cocktails.

The Taco Takeover event will feature a curated menu of freshly made tacos. Diners can choose from three options: Roasted Pork served with salsa verde, pico de gallo and red cabbage; Chicken Tinga with chipotle and tomato sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo and red cabbage; and a vegetarian Roasted Cauliflower Taco with ancho chilli, escabeche, mint crema, pico de gallo and red cabbage.

In addition to the bottomless tacos, the restaurant will offer margaritas and mezcal cocktails to complement the festive atmosphere.

The promotion will be available exclusively at Crudo’s Monmouth Street branch in Seven Dials, with limited seating and timed sessions to ensure all guests can participate fully. Advance booking is recommended due to expected demand.

The Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is observed annually on 2nd November and is rooted in Mexican tradition. It is a time for families and communities to come together to remember and honour those who have passed away, often through food, music, and symbolic offerings.
