Historic Clerkenwell pub reopens with traditional American Thanksgiving menu for November

The newly reopened Hat and Feathers in Clerkenwell is offering a traditional Thanksgiving menu for a limited time this November. Located on the corner of Goswell Road and Clerkenwell Road, the Victorian pub has introduced a special spread featuring all the favourites served at a typical American feast.

Part of the recently launched Hotel Indigo Clerkenwell, the venue’s new holiday offering marks one of the first themed menus since diners were welcomed back earlier this year. They can order traditional roast turkey priced at £32, which includes stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, sweet potatoes and cornbread, followed by two dessert options: Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie, each priced at £8.

The Hat & Feathers has long been a recognisable landmark in the Clerkenwell area. Closed for over ten years, it has now been restored with attention to its historic architecture, including original tiling and woodwork. The refurbishment is part of a wider regeneration effort in the area, with the addition of Hotel Indigo bringing new dining and hospitality options. The team explain their intention is to “offer a classic Thanksgiving spread” in a setting that blends historic charm with modern hospitality, which is expected to appeal to both American expatriates and Londoners looking to experience the holiday’s culinary traditions.

Reservations are advised due to limited seating and anticipated demand during the holiday period.
