Ta’mini Lebanese Bakery launches special Iftar menu for Ramadan at London locations

Ta’mini Lebanese Bakery, with locations in Kensington and Russell Square, London, has introduced a special Iftar set menu for Ramadan. The menu, available daily from sunset until 8 pm between 17^th February and 18^th March, is designed for those observing the holy month and seeking a communal space to break their fast.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Ali and Nermin, Ta’mini Lebanese Bakery serves traditional Lebanese cuisine. The Ramadan menu reflects this culinary heritage, featuring a sequence of dishes commonly associated with Iftar, the evening meal that breaks the daily fast during Ramadan.

The meal begins with a date, a customary food to break the fast, paired with a glass of Jallab, a sweet Middle Eastern drink made from fruit syrup. This is followed by Lentil Soup, an essential staple on Lebanese Iftar tables, and served with freshly baked pita bread. Diners are then offered Fatoush Salad, prepared with mixed greens, herbs, and toasted bread.

For the main course, guests can choose between a Manakish, a type of Lebanese flatbread, or one of seven signature wraps from the bakery’s menu. Options include the Chicken Wrap, which contains shredded chicken, garlic, avocado, sweetcorn, lettuce, pickles, and harissa; the Falafel Wrap, made with the bakery’s house falafel mix, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, tahini, and harissa; and the Sausage Wrap, featuring a blend of lamb and beef sausage with tomatoes, pickles, and mayonnaise.

The meal concludes with a choice of dessert, such as Kunafa Kaak, a traditional Lebanese sweet made with semolina and cheese, finished with ghee, sugar syrup, and pistachio.

The Iftar set menu is priced at £25 per person. It is available at Ta’mini’s two London branches: 15 Kensington Church Street, W8 4LF, and 70 Marchmont Street, WC1N 1AB.

The bakery’s founders state that the menu is thoughtfully curated to bring people together during Ramadan. The set menu is open to both those observing Ramadan and anyone interested in experiencing Lebanese Iftar traditions.
