Art’otel London Battersea Power Station opens rooftop bar and infinity pool with panoramic city views
Art’otel London Battersea Power Station will open its rooftop space to visitors this April, offering the winning combination of a cocktail bar, heated infinity pool and panoramic views over the city. Located in the heart of Battersea, the venue aims to provide guests and diners with an elevated experience overlooking one of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks. The opening coincides with the arrival of longer days and warmer weather, catering to those seeking outdoor social spaces in the city.
The rooftop features the JOIA rooftop bar and restaurant, which serves a menu of small plates and craft cocktails. In combination with the view, the hotel suggests it’s an ideal destination for “sunset drinks or a long, leisurely dinner”. While the bar and restaurant are open to the public, the infinity pool is reserved just for hotel guests. It is described as “a heated paradise perched above London, for guests to take a dip, unwind under the sun or lounge with a book while enjoying unparalleled views of the Power Station”. The space is designed to offer privacy and comfort, merging style with exclusivity.
The opening comes as part of a wider trend in London hospitality, where venues are increasingly looking to maximise outdoor spaces in response to increasing demand for al fresco dining and socialising. The Battersea Power Station area has undergone significant redevelopment in recent years, with new residential, retail and leisure offerings drawing visitors to the neighbourhood. Art’otel London Battersea Power Station’s rooftop aims to contribute to this revitalisation, providing a new vantage point for both locals and tourists.
