GOAT London launches burger delivery with baby goat playdate for a double dose of happiness

London burger restaurant GOAT has launched a new delivery experience that pairs a meal with a 30-minute baby goat visit, available from today! The special treat, called the GOAT-A-Gram, is priced at £45 and is designed for customers within a 5km radius of the restaurant’s Knightsbridge location who wish to mark occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries – or simply treat someone they consider the greatest in their life.

The Dubai-founded brand, which opened its London outpost on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge last November, has partnered with a local farm to provide the animals for each delivery. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required when placing an order, which can be made via the restaurant’s Instagram account, @goatburgerldn.

Each GOAT-A-Gram includes a burger meal chosen from the restaurant’s menu – options include the classic Cheeseburger, the Dirty Buffalo and the Wagyu Melt Sando – accompanied by double-cooked fries and a soft drink. The baby goat visit lasts 30 minutes and includes feeding and handling.

The restaurant has framed the initiative around the potential wellbeing benefits of human-animal interaction. Dr Larip Starknper, a senior veterinarian, offered support for the concept, stating: “Studies consistently demonstrate the remarkable impact of fostering bonds between humans and animals, particularly with endearing creatures like baby goats, on our overall well-being. Beyond the immediate joy it brings, such connections have been shown to have a profound effect on our mental and emotional health. These interactions also play a pivotal role in the socialisation of the baby goats, aiding in their development and ensuring they grow into friendly and sociable animals”.

Sultan Kayed, the founder and head chef of GOAT, also spoke about the thinking behind the service. “When life throws stress my way, sinking my teeth into a delicious burger is always a surefire way to lift my spirits. But pair that with a hug from a baby goat? It’s like a double dose of happiness! I encourage you to experience it yourself,” he said.
