Bar Nana at Seven Dials Market is giving away free frozen margaritas this bank holiday Monday to kick off summer
Seven Dials Market will give away 100 complimentary frozen margaritas to visitors this bank holiday Monday, running from noon throughout the day at the Covent Garden food hall. The drinks will be available from Bar Nana on the ground floor, next door to Pick & Cheese, and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on 25th May until supplies run out.
The giveaway coincides with the market’s busiest month for margarita sales, with May consistently topping seasonal figures for the cocktail. Visitors are being advised to arrive early to secure their tipple, as the free servings are expected to disappear quickly.
Located in the heart of Covent Garden, Seven Dials Market is operated by street food collective Kerb and houses a rotating line-up of independent food traders across two floors. Alongside the margarita offer, several of the venue’s resident vendors will be trading as usual, providing food options for those wishing to make a longer visit of it. Among those open on the day will be Masa Tacos, who serve Mexican-style tacos, and Bad Boy Pizza Society, who specialise in Neopolitan pies. Hoko, a contemporary Hong Kong café concept, will also be dishing up wonton noodle soup and other Cantonese-inspired dishes.
El Rayo, the tequila brand supplying the drinks, has become a regular fixture on London bar menus in recent years and has previously partnered with Kerb venues on other promotions. The frozen margarita format, typically blended with ice to create a slushy-style drink, has become more popular in the UK over recent summers – and with good reason. Doors open at noon on 25th May, and the free margaritas will be available while supplies last.
