Rōti modern Mediterranean launches in London with three delivery-only kitchens and Uber Eats exclusives

Rōti Modern Mediterranean, the US-based fast-casual chain specialising in customisable Mediterranean bowls, has launched its first UK operations this month, opening three delivery-only kitchens in Kentish Town, Shoreditch and Nine Elms. The London expansion, which is available exclusively through Uber Eats, coincides with the company’s newly introduced Global Rōti Day on 19th May, an annual promotional event that will feature a buy-one-get-one-free offer across the brand’s bowl menu.

The Chicago-founded chain, established in 2007 and acquired earlier this year by the Atlanta-based Edible Brands, has chosen the UK capital as its first international market following expansion across America. The three London sites operate as delivery-first kitchens rather than traditional dine-in restaurants, reflecting a wider shift in the fast-casual sector towards digital-led models.

The menu centres on customisable bowls, salads and wraps incorporating Mediterranean spices and ingredients. Customers can choose from chef-curated combinations or build their own to enjoy an individualised, healthy meal.

To coincide with the launch, Rōti is running an extended promotion for new London customers from 19th to 31st May. In addition to the buy-one-get-one-free offer on all bowls, the company is providing a £5 credit redeemable against a future order. Both promotions will be available solely via Uber Eats.

“What makes Rōti work is simple: bold flavours, real hospitality and consistency,” said Matthew Walls, president of Edible Brands. “We’ve seen strong momentum in the US, and London is an exciting next step for the brand as we introduce our modern Mediterranean offering to a new audience.”

CEO Somia Farid Silber added: “Rōti is resonating strongly with guests who want flavourful, better-for-you food that fits into their lifestyle. Launching in the UK allows us to bring that experience to one of the world’s most dynamic food markets.”

Rōti operates a mixed model across the pond, comprising traditional restaurants, digital ordering platforms, delivery-only kitchens and catering services. The team says that the three London sites represent its initial UK footprint, with further growth anticipated.
