SushiDog to give away 2,018 free signature items across UK stores for eighth anniversary celebration

Sushi group SushiDog will distribute 2,018 free signature items across all 14 of its UK stores on Thursday 28th May 2026, in a nationwide promotion marking the eighth anniversary of the brand’s founding in 2018. The giveaway will run from 3pm to 5pm at locations including sites in London and Birmingham, with the figure of 2,018 chosen to reflect the year the company was established.

Each participating store will offer 144 free items on a first come, first served basis. Customers may claim either a signature SushiDog, a Sushi Bowl or a Sushi Salad, with a single protein and avocado included. Drinks, mochi and cookies will be available to purchase separately during the event, but the offer does not extend to build your own options, double protein upgrades, additional mains or sides.

To take part, customers must download the SushiDog app and be logged into their account before joining the queue. Tokens will be distributed outside each participating store from 2:30pm to help manage demand. Once a token has been received, customers must remain in the queue to redeem it, and the token must be scanned at the till. Screenshots will not be accepted, and tokens cannot be exchanged for cash. Full terms and conditions are available via the brand’s app and its social media channels on Instagram and TikTok.

The company has confirmed that participating stores will be closed for regular trading between 3pm and 5pm, or until all 144 tokens at each location have been redeemed. Loyalty points and vouchers cannot be used during the promotional period.

Founded in 2018, SushiDog has expanded to 14 UK locations, building its presence primarily in London while also opening regional sites in Birmingham. The brand is known for its signature hand-rolled sushi format served in an elongated style, alongside bowls and salads. The May giveaway represents one of the larger consumer-facing promotions the company has run since its launch.
