Santa Nata is giving away free iced coffee with their pastries for National Picnic Week

Portuguese bakery chain Santa Nata will be handing over a complimentary iced coffee to anyone purchasing a box of four pastéis de nata at any of its five London locations during National Picnic Week. Running from 15th to 21st June, the promotion is available to customers who quote the code “PICNIC” when ordering in store.

The pastel de nata originated in a monastery in Lisbon more than 300 years ago and has since become one of Portugal’s most recognised sweet exports. Santa Nata has expanded across the British capital in recent years, operating five outlets that specialise in the pastries alongside coffee and more. Their signature treats are baked throughout the day on site, using a recipe that involves three stages: preparing the dough, making the custard filling, and baking. The result is famous for its flaky pastry and a luxuriously creamy custard centre.

Customers keen to take advantage of the special offer this June must visit in person at one of the bakery’s London branches in Battersea, Borough, Spitalfields, New Cross or Covent Garden Market, buy a box of four of the gooey tarts, and quote the codeword. The promotion is not available through delivery platforms or online ordering.
