Doughnation and Cocomelt team up for limited edition chocolate dessert pizza to celebrate World Chocolate Day

Covent Garden pizza restaurant Doughnation has partnered with Soho chocolate café Cocomelt to create a dessert pizza, the CocoNation Triple Choc Slice, which will go on sale from 7th July to mark World Chocolate Day. The slice will be available at Doughnation’s premises at 3 Henrietta Street, London, until the end of the month, priced at £14.

The dessert is built on Doughnation’s pizza base, topped with a layer of mascarpone and a trio of Cocomelt’s Belgian chocolate in white, milk and dark varieties. It is finished with meringue pieces, dried raspberries and mint. The pizza is served with a dip made from Cocomelt’s Belgian white chocolate, intended for use with any remaining crusts.

The collaboration brings together two central London businesses. Doughnation operates in Covent Garden, while Cocomelt is based on Wardour Street in Soho, a short walk from the Henrietta Street site.

To mark the launch, Doughnation is offering customers a complimentary XL Spritz cocktail with every CocoNation Triple Choc Slice ordered on World Chocolate Day itself.

The CocoNation Triple Choc Slice will remain on the menu at Doughnation from 7th July to 31st July, after which point it is due to be withdrawn. Customers seeking additional chocolate products are able to visit Cocomelt’s Soho location, situated a short distance from the Henrietta Street restaurant.

Doughnations uses meticulously sourced artisanal ingredients, to craft signature pizzas as well as guests’ favourites, all that can be accompanied by sides characterised by a dash of the chef’s globally influenced flair.

World Chocolate Day is observed annually on 7th July and has become a focal point for chocolate-related product launches and promotions across the food and hospitality sector. Seasonal collaborations of this kind have grown increasingly common among independent London venues seeking to draw attention to limited-run menu items.
