Six by Nico opens Canary Wharf summer terrace with £5 Aperol Spritz deal for July

Six by Nico has opened a new summer terrace at its Canary Wharf restaurant in London, introducing an outdoor drinking space for Italian-style aperitivo and coastal dining. The Amalfi terrace, situated in the busy commercial district, has been designed for post-work drinks and evening socialising, presenting food and drinks perfectly in keeping with the breezy outdoor setting.

Six by Nico operates a series of restaurants across the UK and Ireland, with the format built around rotating tasting menus that change every six weeks, each themed around a particular place, memory or concept. The new terrace has launched in tandem with the latest tasting menu, Amalfi Coast, which also informs the Italian-inspired cocktails.

The Aperol Spritz is a central feature – and it’s available for just £5 for the whole of July. Meanwhile, the wider cocktail menu incorporates seasonal serves such as a Strawberry Basil Negroni, a Blood Orange Espresso Martini and a Lemon Verbena Hugo. The list also features the Sgroppino, a classic drink made with lemon sorbet, vodka, limoncello and olive oil.

Nico Simeone, founder and chief executive of Six by Nico, said: “Canary Wharf has a fantastic after-work scene, and we wanted to create a space where people can enjoy summer properly, whether that’s stopping by for an Aperol Spritz after work or staying longer with friends over drinks.”

He added: “The £5 Aperol Spritz offer gives everyone the chance to enjoy a summer classic, while the wider cocktail menu means there’s plenty to discover throughout the season.”
