Hawksmoor St Pancras launches £10 cocktail happy hour on its Kings Cross terrace

Hawksmoor has begun offering a happy hour featuring £10 cocktails on the outdoor terrace at its St Pancras restaurant in the Kings Cross area of London, with the promotion running until 15th August. The terrace, opened earlier this summer in partnership with vodka brand Grey Gppse, seats 30 guests and provides an outdoor space for after-work or weekend drinking and dining.

During the happy hour, a selection of the restaurant’s cocktails is available for £10 each. These include a Grey Goose Martini, the Sour Cherry Negroni, Hawksmoor’s Steakhouse Martini, and the Vesper, among others. The full list also comprises the Shaky Pete’s Ginger Brew, the Melon Deuce, the Ultimate Vodka Soda, the Patron Spicy Margarita and the Jalapeno Spritz.

The cocktails on offer draw on several spirits from the Bacardi portfolio. The Grey Goose Martini combines Grey Goose vodka with Noilly Prat dry vermouth and either olives or a lemon twist. The Steakhouse Martini mixes the same vodka with Chardonnay, green peppercorn and olive brine, while the Vesper Martini uses Grey Goose vodka and Bombay Sapphire gin with Noilly Prat vermouth and a lemon twist. Other drinks include the Shaky Pete’s Ginger Brew, made with Bombay Sapphire, lemon, ginger syrup and London Pride, and the Patron Spicy Margarita, which uses Patron tequila and Ilegal Mezcal with lime and yuzu.

The offer is available throughout the terrace’s opening hours and does not require a booking. This part of the venue is intended to offer a slower pace of drinking and dining, a place to settle in, rather than pass through.

Over the course of the season, the terrace will also host a series of pop-up events. These are set to include servings of freshly shucked oysters and events tied to sporting occasions.

Grey Goose, the brand behind the terrace partnership, is distilled and bottled in France using Picardie wheat and spring water from Gensac-la-Pallue, and it’s part of the portfolio of Bacardi Limited.
