SoBe Burger offers students half-price meal deals for Freshers’ Week

University students across the UK will be able to claim 50% off meal deals at SoBe Burger from Monday till 4^th October while Freshers’ Week revels take place. 

The discount applies to meal deals (a burger, fries and a drink) for all diners who present a valid student ID card in store, with a range of delicious options. For beef eaters there’s a Green Chilli Cheeseburger, which comes with pickled green chillies and chilli mayo, and the Truffle Cheeseburger, topped with crispy onions, pickles and truffle mayo. There are also chicken burger options including Buffalo Chicken and Hot Honey.

National Burger Awards 2026 finalist SoBe Burger was founded by school friends Tom and Alex following a trip to Miami, beginning as a residency at London Fields Brewery before expanding into a franchise network. Their discounted Freshers’ Week goodies are being served up at participating quick-service restaurants nationwide, with many branches in student areas such as Nottingham, Edinburgh, Plymouth and Kentish Town in north London. The offer cannot be redeemed on delivery orders, and the current list of participating QSR sites is published on the company’s student club page (linked below).

Students should note several conditions: a valid student ID must be shown at the point of purchase (no delivery orders), and the offer cannot be combined with any other promotion or discount. There is no cash alternative, and the discount applies only to meal deals rather than to individual items. Management also reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any point, so students planning a visit late in the promotional window may need to check availability with their local branch first.
