The Hyunjin X Guess Truck Tour touches down in London
The Hyunjin X Guess Truck Tour is a nifty experience for fashion enthusiasts and K-Pop fans alike. A campaign with Hyunjin of Stray Kids at its heart, the Truck Tour celebrates the launch of the brand’s Fall 2026 collection, with a particular highlight of its denim items. The tour across Europe is stopping in Amsterdam, Poznań, Düsseldorf, Milan, Barcelona and Porto, and recently stopped by London for two days at Westfield, White City.
Upon entering the Guess shop, visitors are inundated with banners and posters of Hyunjin adorned in various items from the collection, with even the big screen playing a behind-the-scenes look into the campaign photoshoot. The selection carries the mark of luxurious simplicity that Guess exudes as a brand, boasting wonderful synergy between its casual, elegant aesthetic and Hyunjin’s laid-back yet artistic persona. Some of the standout pieces include the Denim Trucker Jacket with the Rolling Stones logo on the back, T-shirts bearing familiar motifs to Hyunjin – like the star triangle and car keys – and the bandana. These greatly emphasise the brand’s dedication to complementing Hyunjin while maintaining Guess’s signature look and feel. Anyone who makes a purchase of over £130 from select items is given a Hyunjin eco tote bag, the Spring 2026 collection magazine featuring Hyunjin, a denim tote or pouch (depending on availability), and a token to use the denim customisation at the truck.
The pop-up itself is rather simple, with a banner of Hyunjin on one side, and a window on the other for a clear view of the nano-laser machine customising the denim. Inside, people can choose two from multiple available pre-made graphics, including Hyunjin’s name and initials in different fonts. There’s also an option for custom names, limited by the spacing available on the denim. These designs can be engraved on any denim purchased from the Guess shop, or on the tote or pouch given. Shoppers will have the option to get both designs on one or two separate pieces. Watching the actual nano-laser at work is perhaps the best part of the whole experience, with personalisation options including flexible sizing and placement, and the staff extremely capable of bringing the customer’s vision to life.
While all of that is enjoyable, for anyone not looking to make a purchase, there’s not much else to do. The customisation is only available to those with the exclusive voucher, leaving few plausible activities such as taking pictures around the truck and basking in the sight of the new releases. On the first day, there’s a DJ set-up to help keep the energy high, and the event offers plenty of opportunities to meet other K-Pop and Stray Kids fans while waiting for one’s turn at customisation.
The Hyunjin X Guess Truck Tour pop-up is a uniquely entertaining day out for fans of the brand, the beloved idol and his band. Still, it doesn’t offer much beyond shopping and the awe of denim customisation, leaving little for anyone else to miss out on.
