Taking care of your skin and what products to use is probably one of the toughest dilemma’s any woman can face; the Konjac Sponge Company has just made that decision a bit easier!  Original sponge

For centuries the Japanese have been using the Konjac plant for health and dietary purposes.  Taking a lesson from Asia, the Konjac Sponge Company has created the sponge made from the Konjac plant root and mixed with volcanic spring water.  The root is filled with many minerals like iron, phosphorus, copper, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin D, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C and folic acid  to name a few.Sportswomen Sponge

The Konjac plant is naturally moisture rich and balances the acidity of the skin’s impurities and oils, stimulates blood flow and encourages growth of new skin cells.  Not only does your skin feel clean and refreshed after using the sponge, but also you reduce your carbon footprint by using an environmentally friendly product.

If you’re wondering, the sponge can be used on its own; there is no need for using additional cleansers or soaps, and it has been made in different variations depending on skin types.Konjac Baby Sponge

The Baby Sponge is ideal for little ones with sensitive skin or suffering from eczema.  For oily and problem teenage skin the sponge with added bamboo charcoal is perfect for removing impurities. Keeping the traveller and sports person in mind, they created the sports sponge which comes in its own travel pouch, ideal for carrying to and from the gym, or away on holidays.French Clay sponge

The range that would resonate with the fairer sex is definitely the French clay sponge.  French clay is very popular with beauty therapists due to its cleansing, exfoliating, smoothing and softening effects on the skin. This sponge comes in three ranges: French Red Clay created for dry and sensitive skin, French Green Clay for normal to oily skin and French Pink Clay for tired and devitalised skin.

The sponges retail from about £7 to £12 and last up to three months; that seems like a clever and healthy investment into your skin.
