Battersea Power Station will host The Feasting Table, a new riverside dining experience, as part of the CelebrASIA festival taking place this September. The event, set along the River Thames in south-west London, will feature a curated four-course menu prepared over fire by prominent South East Asian chefs, with each day highlighting a different culinary talent. Limited to 60 diners per seating, its aim is to showcase the region’s diverse cuisines in an intimate, communal setting.

The Feasting Table will open on Friday 5th September with a menu by Budgie Montoya, who appeared on the BBC’s Great British Menu and is head chef and founder of Sarap in London. Montoya’s offering is billed to bring “bold Filipino flavours and inventive twists on tradition”. The following day, Abby Lee, head chef and founder of Mambow in Clapton, will present Malaysian dishes “packed with spice, soul and seasonal flair” at two sittings. Finally, Sunday will see Desiree and John Chantarasak of the Michelin-starred AngloThai in Marylebone serve a menu combining Thai flavours with British seasonal ingredients, accompanied by wine pairings selected by sommelier Desiree Chantarasak.

Tickets for The Feasting Table start at £91.20 and include a welcome drink and four sharing-style courses in a format designed to encourage social interaction among guests. Each session is expected to last approximately two hours, with sittings scheduled across lunch and evening time slots throughout the weekend. The dining event is part of the CelebrASIA festival, a three-day salute to South East Asian food, culture and community held in and around the landmark Battersea site. In addition to the long-table dining experience, the festival will offer street food stalls, an artisan market, live music and dance performances, and family-friendly arts and crafts workshops.
