Market Place Food Hall debuts capital’s first haggis burrito for Burns Night with whisky giveaway

London’s Market Place Food Hall will introduce what it claims is the capital’s first-ever haggis burrito this weekend, in celebration of Burns Night. The limited-edition dish, created in collaboration with Yorkshire Burrito, will be available on 24th and 25th January 2026 at Market Place’s Leicester Square and Vauxhall locations to mark the annual Scottish celebration honouring poet Robert Burns.

The £12 creation, officially named the Haggis Neeps & Tatties Yorkshire Pudding Burrito, combines traditional Scottish ingredients – haggis, neeps (turnips), and tatties (potatoes) – wrapped inside a large Yorkshire pudding and rolled burrito-style. Each serving comes with a whiskey-infused gravy for dipping.

To mark the occasion, the first 50 customers purchasing a haggis burrito on 25th January will receive a complimentary shot of Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (limited to adults over 18, with proof of age required). The choice of whisky is a nod to Burns’s 1787 work The Birks of Aberfeldy.

Market Place Food Hall’s marketing director, Holly Hilton, commented: “At Market Place Food Halls, we love playful collaborations that bring traditional eats and street food together. Burns Night is the perfect time to roll out our latest mash-up with Haggis, Neeps & Tatties Yorkshire Burrito. The team at Yorkshire Burrito have done an incredible job, and it truly tastes delicious! If you want the full Scottish experience, be sure to get here first for a free dram of Aberfeldy whisky. It won’t last long!”

Market Place Food Hall, which has expanded rapidly since its founding in 2020, takes pride in hosting independent street food vendors and a variety of events at its venues across London. The special Burns Night offering will only be available at the newly opened Leicester Square location and Vauxhall branches for the weekend.
