La Petite Maison reopens in Mayfair with refreshed interiors and new private dining spaces
La Petite Maison, a French Riviera-inspired restaurant established in 2007, has reopened its doors in London’s Mayfair following an extensive interior refresh. The relaunch, which took place at its original Brook’s Mews address, marks a new chapter for the restaurant, a fixture in the area for nearly two decades. The reopening includes the introduction of new private dining spaces and updates to its Provençal-inspired menu.
Founded by LPM Restaurant Group, La Petite Maison was one of the first establishments to bring Côte d’Azur-style dining to London, paving the way for the Mediterranean culinary trend that has since become widespread across the city. Over the years, the restaurant has attracted a diverse clientele, including members of royalty, celebrities, business leaders, and local residents, and has hosted a range of events from private celebrations to business lunches.
The refreshed restaurant retains many of the features that have become synonymous with its brand, including crisp white tablecloths, light-filled interiors, and its signature table setting of a tomato and lemon. Guests are encouraged to enjoy these with extra virgin olive oil at the start of their meal, a ritual that has become part of the dining experience. The menu continues to focus on Provençal flavours, offering dishes such as Warm Prawns with olive oil and lemon, Salt-baked Sea Bass with artichokes and tomatoes, and the house Vanilla Crème Brûlée.
The reopening also introduces new private dining options, with the launch of the Riviera Room. This new space can accommodate up to 36 guests and is intended to cater for both private celebrations and corporate events.
A notable feature of La Petite Maison is its wine list, which includes collaborations with producers such as Château La Coste. The restaurant’s signature cocktail, the Tomatini, also has a story per se, and, in 2024, LPM celebrated its first Tomatini Day across four continents, highlighting the drink’s popularity. In 2025, the restaurant launched a new cocktail menu, Déjà Vu, presented in the style of a vintage editorial magazine.
