Christopher Robin takes us back to the Hundred Acre Wood for a reunion with some of the nation’s most beloved characters. However, this feature serves up the fantastical world of AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh with a twist. Now middle-aged and having served in the British army during the First World War, our titular hero (Ewan McGregor) is living out an unspectacular existence in London with his wife (Hayley Atwell) and daughter (Bronte Carmichael). But when a certain yellow bear pays him a visit, Christopher begins to rediscover the joy of life, and rekindle his once-vivid imagination.

We caught up with the stars of the movie at the UK premiere. McGregor discussed how the fast-paced postwar London of the film has many parallels with the capital today.

His co-star Atwell explained why the film feels like “home” to her.

Bronte Carmichael talked about why this has been an unforgettable experience for her and what Pooh characters she loves the most.

We also caught up with the talent behind the project. Forster, the director, explained the joys of returning to family-friendly filmmaking, and going back to being a kid.

Before entering the screening room, the talent of the film met their fans to sign autographs and take pictures together with them.
