Michelin-starred chef Endo Kazutoshi to open Kioku by Endo at The OWO in spring 2024

Sushi master Endo Kazutoshi of Michelin-starred restaurant Endo at the Rotunda is set to unveil his latest venture, Kioku by Endo, at in the spring of 2024 at The OWO. The announcement comes from the Creative Restaurant Group and it includes the opening of both Kioku Restaurant, situated on the rooftop, and Kioku Bar, located on the ground floor. Kazutoshi, known for his sushi mastery, will serve as chef patron, blending Japanese culinary traditions with a touch of Mediterranean influence, a homage to his time spent in Spain.

Kioku by Endo is set to offer a dining experience boasting panoramic views of iconic London landmarks such as Whitehall, The Mall, Horse Guards, St James Park and Westminster. The space will feature a 55-seat main dining room, an eight seat Chef’s Table with views into the kitchen, and a private dining room within one of the building’s turrets, with a 360-degree views of the capital. Additionally, a 55-cover outside terrace will provide guests with a breathtaking outdoor dining option.

The Kioku Bar aims to create an intimate atmosphere with a 25-cover capacity, situated on Whitehall Place. Endo-San has collaborated with sake samurai Natsuki Kikuya to develop a world-class sake programme, featuring a bespoke safe dedicated to storing the finest sake. The cocktails list draws inspiration from traditional Japanese listening bars, complete with a bespoke record player for guests to select and play their preferred tracks, personalising the playlist daily and enhancing the overall enjoyment of the bar atmosphere.
