Mama Shelter London teams up with Teremana Tequila for a Mexican-themed spring event
This spring, Mama Shelter London, a vibrant hotel and bar located in the heart of East London, is partnering with Teremana Tequila for an exclusive event. Throughout March and April, the hotel’s bar and garden terrace will be transformed into a Mexican-themed oasis, offering a selection of cocktails inspired by Dwayne The Rock Johnson, the founder of Teremana Tequila.
The takeover will feature a special cocktail menu priced at £12 each, with a two-for-one offer available during the venue’s Tequila Hour, which runs from 4-7 pm on weekdays. Among the highlights are The People’s Margarita, which combines tequila with agave nectar and pineapple juice, and the Mana Paloma, a mix of tequila, grapefruit juice, lime, and soda water. Additionally, the Azul Noche cocktail blends tequila, chambord, blue curacao, and lime juice.
For those looking for a more casual drink, boozy slushies will also be available. These include Medicine, a frozen concoction of grenadine, blue curacao, ginger ale, and tequila, as well as a frozen margarita made with tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
The venue’s garden terrace will be decorated to resemble a tranquil Mexican retreat, complete with a retractable glass roof ensuring that the festivities can continue regardless of the weather. The decor and ambiance of Mama Shelter London, combined with a carefully curated playlist, aim to provide the perfect backdrop for guests to enjoy their evening.
Teremana Tequila, created by Dwayne Johnson, is known for its small-batch production using 100% blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands. The brand emphasises quality and sustainability, utilising leftover agave fibres as organic compost and employing advanced water filtration systems to manage waste.
Mama Shelter London, part of the Ennismore group, opened in 2019 and has since become a local hotspot. It offers 194 stylishly designed rooms, unique private meeting spaces, a spacious bar and restaurant, and an ethereal garden terrace.
