Holmes Hotel London unveils 12 flexible event spaces for carbon neutral meetings in Marylebone

Holmes Hotel London has expanded its offering for corporate and private gatherings with the launch of 12 flexible meeting and event spaces, designed to accommodate a variety of functions – from boardroom meetings and training sessions to cocktail receptions and private dinners – with capacity for up to 100 guests. The initiative aligns with the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, as all meetings and events hosted are carbon neutral.

Located on Chiltern Street in Marylebone, the venue is housed within four restored Georgian townhouses and is situated a short walk from Baker Street station. The centrepiece of the event facilities is The Residence, a self-contained suite comprising five individually styled rooms: The Conservatory, The Gallery, The Laboratory, The Library and The Cellar. These rooms can be hired individually or as a collective space. According to the hotel, The Laboratory draws inspiration from Dr Watson’s scientific background, while other rooms incorporate a mix of heritage design and eclectic detail. There’s also a pantry kitchen, hidden billiards table and three outdoor terraces.

Other available spaces are The Roof Terrace, which accommodates up to ten guests for drinks or dining with views over Marylebone; Kitchen at Holmes, the hotel’s two AA Rosette restaurant, available for semi-private hire; The Study, a boardroom-style space for up to 13 guests; The Lounge, suitable for informal gatherings of up to 80 people; and The Gallery, the hotel’s largest conference space, which can host up to 60 guests in a theatre-style layout or 35 in cabaret configuration. All rooms are equipped with complimentary audiovisual equipment, including plasma screens and Wi-Fi,.

Tailored menus for events can also be created, ranging from canapés and afternoon teas to Mediterranean-inspired tastings, all overseen by head chef Stefano Motta, who leads the hotel’s culinary team. Likewise, drinks receptions can be customised with cocktails created by the in-house mixologists. To keep things running smoothly throughout, Holmes Hotel offers an in-house events team, who are on hand to assist with planning and delivery, offering flexibility in room configurations and technical requirements.
