Mr Fogg’s announces Halloween programme with cocktail workshops and murder mysteries

A series of themed events will be taking place in London this October, as Mr Fogg’s unveils its Halloween lineup. Specially designed cocktails and spooky roleplay will abound at the group’s eclectic Mayfair locations, getting people in the mood for October.

Mr Fogg’s Apothecary, opposite Claridge’s, has announced the return of its Cocktail Experiments workshops with an updated format titled Cocktail Experiments 2.0. The two-hour sessions take place every Saturday between 1 and 3.30pm in the venue’s Elixir Room. Guests are guided through a series of drink-making activities under the supervision of in-house “pharmacists”, who adopt the persona of Victorian scientists. There will be a welcome drink, followed by an invitation to concoct a series of themed drinks, including the PHeeling Blue – a mix of Grey Goose vodka, Bacardi Coconut rum, blue curaçao, lychee juice, coconut syrup and citrus essence. Non-alcoholic options are also available, such as the Placebo Bismol, which includes Martini Vibrante, Caleno Light & Zesty, guava juice and citrus flavours. The session costs £58 per person and includes three cocktails and snacks.

Meanwhile, Mr Fogg’s Residence on Bruton Lane is offering a new interactive experience, priced at £60 per person: every Saturday from 1pm Mr Fogg’s Murder Mystery will offer a chance to solve the fictional slaying of John Sullivan, a friend of the venue’s namesake character. Guided by a character called Inspector Fix, participants are encouraged to piece together clues while enjoying two speciality libations.

Throughout October, a series of Halloween-themed drinks will also be available at branches across London. The group invites guests to “immerse yourself in The Emerald Elixirs, a collection of cocktails with Bacardi Spiced Rum, Patrón Silver tequila and Grey Goose that gleam with emerald green and blush pink, each one a curious performance in a glass. Expect unusual twists, subtle sparks, and the sort of theatrical surprises only Mr Fogg could conjure”.
