If you’re a fan of The Inbetweeners, you’re in luck. Iain Morris’s latest feature brings back the cringe-worthy humour and unbearably awkward moments we know so well – along with some familiar faces. The Festival charts the chaos that ensues as Nick (Joe Thomas) is convinced by his best friend Shane (Hammed Animashaun) to attend a music festival in order to get over a brutal breakup. Over one wild weekend on a muddy field, the pair meet a host of eccentric characters – including an appearance from Big Narstie – and make far more memories than they bargained for.

At last night’s London premiere, we caught up with the lead duo along with fellow cast members Hannah Tointon, Emma Rigby, Hugh Coles and Theo Barklem-Biggs to discuss their characters and how the film compares to a real festival experience.

We also spoke to writer Iain Morris, who admitted that he pushes Joe Thomas to the limits for the sake of comedy, and hopes to continue to do so in future.

Singer-songwriter Miles Kane shared with us his excitement about the release of his new record Coup de Grace last Friday and he confessed that, at present, his collaboration project with Alex Turner – The Last Shadow Puppets – is on hold.

Finally, comedian Jimmy Carr joked about his career and memories from his music festival experiences.
