Fatt Pundit brings back limited-edition colourful momos for Holi in Soho and Covent Garden

Fatt Pundit, the Indo-Chinese restaurant with branches in Soho and Covent Garden, will be marking the festival of Holi this March by reintroducing its colourful, Holi-inspired momos for a limited time. The special menu will be available from 12th to 16th March at both locations, with the aim of celebrating the festival of colours through food.

Holi, observed predominantly by Hindus in India and Nepal, is known for its vibrant displays of colour and communal festivities. In recognition of the occasion, Fatt Pundit will serve Nepalese dumplings, or momos, that are naturally tinted using beetroot, spinach and saffron – colours traditionally associated with the celebrations. Customers can choose from a variety of fillings, including chicken, beef, kid goat or vegetables. The dish will be priced at £9 for four pieces, and can be enjoyed as a starter or as a bar snack alongside a cocktail.

The restaurant, which specialises in fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisines, has previously offered the Holi-inspired treats, and their return reflects earlier demand. The use of natural ingredients for colouring speaks to a broader trend in the industry that favours health-conscious and visually appealing dishes.
