Two West London restaurants under the Sam’s umbrella – Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith and Sam’s Waterside in Brentford – are launching a new dining offer designed to attract customers during the coming winter months. From 5th January to 13th February, both venues will provide an Wine & Dine experience, featuring a two-course lunch or early evening dinner for two people, accompanied by a bottle of wine, for a set price of £75.

Menus for the Wine & Dine experience will change weekly and vary by location, with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Starters on the sample menu include Crispy Oyster Mushrooms served with chicory and truffle mayonnaise, Smoked Mackerel Pâté with cornichons and toast, and Merguez Sausages accompanied by zesty yoghurt and hispi cabbage. Main courses feature options such as a Cauliflower and Chestnut Pithivier with chestnut velouté, Salmon Roulade with spinach and leek beurre blanc, or Calf’s Liver with crispy potatoes and onion gravy. Dessert comes in the form of Winter Berry Crumble with vanilla custard, Dark Chocolate Fondant with crème fraîche and hazelnuts, or a classic affogato. For wines, guests are able to choose between La Colonie Grenache Blanc Viognier 2024 or La Colonie Syrah 2024, both from the Pays d’Oc region in France.

Organisers explain the aim is to provide an “inviting way to enjoy good food, good wine and Sam’s signature hospitality” during the winter season. The Genuine Restaurants Group, which operates both venues, is led by Sam Harrison and Fanny Stocker, who hold a collection of dining establishments across West London. Sam’s Riverside has received recognition in the AA Rosette Awards (2024), the Harden’s Best UK Restaurants Guide and the Michelin Guide. Meanwhile, its sister restaurant, Sam’s Waterside, was recently awarded Best New Business 2024 by the West London Chamber of Commerce.
