Covent Garden’s Pivot Bar and Bistro serves bottomless Hangover Roast on New Year’s Day

Covent Garden’s Pivot Bar and Bistro serves bottomless Hangover Roast on New Year’s Day

British bar and bistro Pivot, in Covent Garden, will be serving a special Hangover Roast on New Year’s Day. Overlooking the famous piazza, the 1st January event aims to provide substantial sustenance for those recovering from New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Pivot is known for its very British menu and its top-class location in the sight of one of London’s most popular public spaces. Their New Year’s Day roast is part of a wider trend among London restaurants who offer special menus on public holidays – particularly those that follow major celebrations such as ringing in a new year.

The team explains, “There to cure all the New Year’s Eve drinking, Pivot will be serving up its award-winning sharing roast for four with bottomless sides for £99”. The Hangover Roast will feature a platter for four people, priced at £99, which includes a half roast chicken, beef strip-loin and lamb shank with unlimited accompaniments such as roast potatoes, seasonal greens, glazed carrots, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Diners can also opt for a vegan version or a single portion if they prefer an individual meal. For those seeking additional remedies, hair-of-the-dog in the form of traditional Bloody Marys will also be available.

Possibly the ultimate antidote to anyone with New Year’s Day blues and their friends, Pivot’s special roast is available to book now.
