Cord and Barrafina to host one-night-only Spanish-British fusion dinner in City of London

Cord and Barrafina, two well-known London restaurants, will team up for a one-off dinner event this Thursday. Starting at 6.30pm, the exclusive four-course meal will be held at Cord on Fleet Street, bringing together executive head chefs Antonio Gonzalez Milla of Cord and Francisco Jose Torrico of Barrafina, who will work together to create a menu blending Spanish and British culinary approaches.

The collaboration marks the first time the two establishments have partnered in public. Both are led by chefs with extensive experience in their respective culinary traditions: Barrafina is recognised for its modern take on Spanish cuisine and has earned acclaim for its tapas-style dining, while Cord is known for its refined British cooking and focus on seasonal ingredients. Their short partnership provides an opportunity for diners to experience a joint effort by two established names in London’s dining scene that organisers describe as “an unmissable opportunity to experience the creative synergy of two celebrated restaurants in one exceptional, one-night-only event”.

For this fusion showcase, the menu will include dishes such as Artichoke and Truffle Raviolo, Cured Monkfish Carpaccio, Braised Iberian Pork Cheeks and a Black Forest dessert.

Tickets for the dinner are available for purchase online, with a limited number of seats expected to encourage early booking. Tickets are priced at £85 per person (excluding service charge).
