Thai Square launches pre-theatre menu supporting Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

Thai Square, the restaurant group specialising in – you guessed it – Thai cuisine, has introduced a new pre-theatre menu at its Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Strand and Windsor locations. The menu, designed for theatre-goers seeking a meal before an evening performance, is available daily until 6.30pm, except on Bank Holidays and Valentine’s Day.

The new offering features a range of the restaurant’s signature dishes, among them Green Curry, Pad Thai, Beef Panang Curry, Tamarind Duck and Volcano Fish. The menu caters to the pre-performance dining crowd in central London and Windsor, where many of the city’s major theatres are located.

Mixed starter platters are included as part of the menu, with options such as spring rolls, satay, prawns, tempura and corn cakes. Diners can finish their meal with desserts like coconut ice cream or mango sorbet. For those looking to add drinks, Thai Square is offering a 90-minute bottomless drinks upgrade with choices like Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, house wines and beer. Non-alcoholic options are also available, with bottomless Coke, Sprite, orange juice and mango juice offered as alternatives.

The special menu is priced at £30 for three courses, which come with a glass of Monsoon Valley Thai wine or Chang beer. A two-course option, which does not include dessert, is available for £23. In addition to the new menu, Thai Square has announced that it will donate 30p from every three-course meal sold to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, the charity supporting animal welfare and rehoming in the UK.

The team at Thai Square said, “Crafted with theatre lovers in mind, the pre-theatre menu is the perfect overture, offering a culinary curtain call of authentic Thai flavours before an evening performance”.
