Several London restaurants are hosting New Year’s Eve celebrations this December, but to narrow the possibilities down, here are four serving special menus and £10 glasses of Gallimard Père et Fils champagne all night long. 

Evelyn’s Table, the Michelin-starred, 12-seat counter restaurant located beneath The Blue Posts in Soho, will open its doors to ring in the New Year for the first time. Head chef Seamus Sam has created a seasonal tasting menu that combines classic French techniques with British ingredients, beginning with a glass of champagne and including dishes such as Scallop with Truffle Butter and Champagne, Dover Sole with Mussels, Leek and Celeriac and Iberico Pork Loin with Mole, Pumpkin and Quince. The meal concludes with a Milk Chocolate, Earl Grey, Pear, Hazelnut and Jerusalem Artichoke dessert. For lunch, it’s priced at £130 per person for lunch, or for an optional extra course of guinea fowl for dinner, £170. A curated wine list brings pairings ranging from classic bottles to lesser-known varietals.

Also in Soho, The Palomar will serve a selection influenced by Southern Spain, North Africa and the Levant. Guests can sit at the open kitchen bar and choose between two options priced at £75 and £100, feasting on treats such as Lamb Croquette with Pickled Walnut, Seabass and Trout Crudo and mains such as chicken, cod or squash served with garlic yoghurt and spiced pepper butter. The £100 menu includes additional dishes like Côte de Boeuf or Whole Grilled John Dory, alongside desserts including a Baklava and Pistachio Ice Cream Sandwich and a Chocolate Tart.

In Notting Hill, The Barbary will offer a menu priced at £90 or £120 per person, showcasing opening numbers like Barbari Bread and Yellowtail Sashimi with Brown Butter, plus mains including Coffee-Rub Chicken and Burnt Ends Pork Chop. An optional upgrade includes Sirloin on the Bone or Whole Roasted John Dory. Meanwhile, at The Barbary’s Neal’s Yard location in Covent Garden, diners can enjoy a £70 set selection featuring Za’atar and Feta FrittersCoffee Rub Chicken and more, with Hamachi with Blood Orange and Aleppo as an extra bringing the total to £80.
