Fat Hippo launches SpongeBob-themed burger created with TikTok star ReefaTV to celebrate new movie release

Fat Hippo has expanded its limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants-themed menu with a brand-new burger created in collaboration with TikTok personality ReefaTV. The new sandwich was launched on Monday at Fat Hippo’s Soho location as part of a partnership with Paramount Pictures UK celebrating the release of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants (currently showing in cinemas nationwide). The SpongeBob-inspired selection is available exclusively via Deliveroo’s SpongeBob’s Patty Shack until 31^st January 2026.

The centrepiece is the Best Friends Forever burger, designed by ReefaTV after winning a contest at a launch event, where guests were invited to create their own burger concepts. ReefaTV’s entry consists of two beef patties, American cheese, Swiss cheese, onion, tomatoes, BBQ sauce and hot honey sauce, all served in a yellow demi brioche bun. Best Friends Forever will be available for a limited time via Deliveroo as part of the SpongeBob’s Patty Shack pop-up.

The Best Friends Forever is available alongside The Lost Burger of the Underworld, inspired by SpongeBob’s pineapple home, and the Seaquest Supreme, all served in yellow buns. Other items on offer are Treasure Fries, The Captain’s Clucker and Deep Sea Double, with the full menu presented in special themed packaging. While a limited selection is available in Fat Hippo restaurants, the complete range can be accessed through Deliveroo’s online platform.

The collaboration coincides with the UK opening of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which follows SpongeBob as he attempts to prove his bravery to Mr Krabs by chasing the ghost pirate, The Flying Dutchman, into the deepest parts of the sea. The partnership aims to offer fans of the franchise an exciting dining experience alongside the movie.
